Inspection Upon Delivery
Please unpack and inspect your peony roots promptly upon arrival.
Bare-root peonies are shipped dormant. Some surface dryness and minor cosmetic imperfections are normal and do not necessarily indicate a problem.
If there are concerns about the condition of your order, please contact info@enfleurs.ca within seven (7) days of delivery, whenever possible.
Include your order number, a description of the concern, and clear photographs of the affected roots. Please retain the roots until the matter has been reviewed.
The seven-day reporting period is intended to facilitate prompt resolution and does not limit rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Damaged or Defective Roots
If a root arrives damaged, diseased, or otherwise unsuitable for planting, the circumstances will be reviewed and an appropriate resolution offered.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement or refund, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Shipping costs for replacements issued due to confirmed quality issues will be covered by En Fleurs.
Plant Establishment & Growing Conditions
Peonies are long-lived perennials, but their establishment and performance depend on proper planting and suitable growing conditions.
Planting depth, soil drainage, moisture, climate, and ongoing care all influence plant development. Newly planted peonies may require several growing seasons to reach maturity and produce abundant blooms.
While root quality is guaranteed at the time of shipment, flowering timelines, bloom quantity, and plant performance under all growing conditions cannot be guaranteed.
The voluntary guarantee does not cover losses caused solely by improper planting, inadequate drainage, unsuitable watering practices, extreme weather, animal damage, or other external factors beyond the grower's control.
If a root fails to emerge during its first growing season, customers are encouraged to make contact with their order details so the circumstances can be reviewed.
Cultivar Identification
Every effort is made to ensure that all peony roots are correctly identified and labeled.
Because peonies may take several growing seasons to produce their first flowers, identification concerns may not become apparent immediately.
If a cultivar appears to have been incorrectly identified, please contact info@enfleurs.ca with the original order information and clear photographs of the blooms and foliage.
The concern will be investigated and an appropriate resolution provided, including a replacement or refund where required.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of living plant material, returns or exchanges for a change of mind are generally not accepted.
Please make contact before returning any plant material.
This policy does not affect rights regarding damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied products under applicable consumer protection laws.
