Woody peonies grow and need tending to a little differently than herbaceous peonies. If they are new to you, please read this.
Disclaimer
The mother plants for these grafts were obtained from various growers over the last 20 years. Some of these growers were more careful about identification than others. As a result several beautiful plants turned out to be other than what they were sold as. Others, came with a shadow of doubt. Over the last 5 years, every effort has been made to ascertain the correct name for each mother plant used in propagation but, it is possible that we got it wrong as published descriptions are often vague and reference plants were difficult or impossible to find.
What we can say though is that the photos are of our plants i.e. what we are selling and the descriptions are based on our observations of the plants we grow.
