Hollingsworth, 2011
A peony that truly lives up to its name. In 2013, we discovered two enormous, unidentified plants thriving in the field. They were robust and bloomed beautifully. Thanks to their distinctive features (and our purchasing records 😉), we identified them with ease. Over time, those two plants multiplied into 10, then 30, and now everyone can have their own division of a Sunny Day.
Sunny Day is quick to mature, and requires some space. A large plant, with the sunniest pale yellow single flowers, with hues of apricot at the base of its petals reminscent of warm summer evenings.
With delicate crepe like petals, and large feathered center, this dramtic yellow charmer will steal the show every time.
