Auten, 1946

Vigorous grower! I saved a tiny piece of Do Tell, with one eye four years ago, last fall, it was able to be divided into multiple good sized divisions.

Apart from it's growth habit, this is an eye catching peony, that is quite popular for good reason. Generally floriferous, with contrasting pale pink petals and dark pink staminodes. Petals are rimmed with pale pink, and meld into a rosier center.

Winner of the American Peony Society Landscape Merit Award in 2009, and Gold Medalist in 2004
